Following the complaints of the Npower empowerment scheme participants on delayed payment of stipends, we have been able to pinpoint some of the possible reasons why beneficiaries are yet to be paid.
Aside from the fault on the part of the organisers of the scheme, the reason for the delay in your payment could be caused by little mistakes from your end. We advise you read this article carefully so as to be sure that you are not the cause of the delay in the payment of your stipend.
Reasons Why You are yet to be Paid as a Beneficiary
1.) One of the reason why you are yet to be paid could be because the name on your dashboard does not correspond with your that of your bank account.
It is very important that you take note of this. The name on your dashboard is expected to match that of your bank account one hundred percent. If this is not the case with yours, we advise you quickly go for correction or editing of your names to be exactly the same.

2.) If your dashboard shows paid, approved or successful but you are yet to receive any credit alert, do not panic, it could be as a result of network issue.
What you should do is check your mobile banking application from time to time if you have one. The money could have landed in your account but there could be a delay in you receiving the credit alert. You could also try recharge your line or making a transfer to someone, this would compel your other alerts to come in.
If this is doesn’t happen and you are sure no one has tampered with your account, please go to your bank to confirm.
3.) If your dashboard is saying your bank account is invalid and you have before now been receiving your stipends from the same account, please login to dashboard and confirm that the account number you filled in before is still the same.
If it still is and your dashboard still displays ‘account invalid’, you can try changing the account number especially if you have more than one account but ensure the name on the bank account corresponds with the one on your dashboard.
Please note that there are a lot of beneficiaries for this programme and as such technical issues could happen every once in a while. You are to be a little patient with them, forward your complaint to them via their official email address and they would definitely resolve it as soon as they can.
